Why convert a photo to PDF at all
The most common reason isn't really about the photo itself — it's about what has to happen to it afterward. A lot of upload forms, application portals, and email workflows expect a single PDF rather than several separate image files, especially for anything that resembles a document: a photographed receipt, a signed form, a multi-page contract shot page by page with a phone camera. Combining several photos into one PDF turns "here are six photos" into "here's one file," which is what most of those systems are actually built to expect.
Page order follows the order you dropped or selected the files in, so if the sequence matters — pages of a form, in order — it helps to select them in that order to begin with, or check the sequence in the results grid before downloading. There's no drag-to-reorder step here; if the order comes out wrong, the straightforward fix is re-selecting the files in the correct order and converting again.
The quality slider still applies in PDF mode — it controls how much the underlying photo is compressed before being embedded into the page, which is usually the biggest lever over the final PDF's file size.
Common questions
Can I combine several HEIC photos into one PDF?
Yes. Switch the output setting to "Combine into one PDF" before converting, and every photo you drop in becomes a page in a single PDF file, in the order you added them.
Can I still get a separate PDF for each photo?
Yes, that's the default. Leave the output setting on "Separate PDF per photo" and each converted file gets its own PDF, downloadable individually or all together as a .zip.
Will the PDF page match the shape of my photo?
Yes. Each page is sized to match its photo's exact proportions rather than forcing it onto a fixed page size, so there's no white border or cropping.
Do my photos get uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens locally in your browser tab using WebAssembly. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I add a photo to a PDF I already have?
No — this tool creates new PDFs from HEIC photos, but it can't open or append to an existing PDF file. If you need to combine a new photo with an existing document, you'd need a separate PDF-editing tool for that merge step.
